Is Ripple really free?
Yes. Ripple is free forever on iOS, Android, and the web. We make money from optional Ripple+ subscriptions that add extra storage and video features — never from ads.
How is Ripple different from Instagram, Facebook, or Snapchat?
Ripple isn't a public broadcast platform. There are no strangers, no discovery feed, and no algorithm. It's built for small, chosen circles and short, meaningful moments — closer to a group chat than a social network.
Do you show ads or sell my data?
Never. We don't run ads, don't sell data to third parties, and don't share your content with advertisers. Our business model is transparent Ripple+ subscriptions.
Can I use Ripple for my team or club?
Absolutely. Many small teams, sports clubs, and communities use private circles for internal updates. If you outgrow the free tier, Ripple+ gives you larger circle sizes and admin tools.
What happens if I delete my account?
Everything — every post, message, photo, and voice note — is deleted immediately and irreversibly. We keep no shadow copy.
Which devices does Ripple work on?
iPhone (iOS 16+), Android (10+), and the latest desktop browsers. Your circles follow you across every device you sign in on.
How do I invite people to a circle?
Send a private invite link from inside the circle. It expires in 24 hours and only works once, so an invite can't leak.
